App development and use by businesses set to surge through 2020
App development is set to become a key cog in all business operations in 2020 with predictions of more enterprises rolling out their own apps throughout the year.
The recently released IT Application Development Services Market Report has revealed that the global IT application development services market is set to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.4 per cent every year through until 2025.
This report focuses on customised software designed to suit business needs and meet consumer demand – which is what Ionyx provides for major organisations in Australia and across the world.
So with more and more businesses taking up customised app services for their operations, can your enterprise afford to be left behind?
The rollout of the 5G network across Australia means that mobile device users will have access to faster speeds and consequently more powerful apps and tools on their devices.
A Deloitte survey showed that the majority of Australians are ready to transition, with 14 per cent of Australians ready to switch immediately, 20 per cent ready to switch as long as the reviews are favourable, 33 per cent aiming to switch eventually and 17 per cent ready to accept it as a standard offering.
Just 11 per cent of Australians are opposed to switching to 5G, with 15 per cent remaining unsure.
Telstra has already rolled out 5G to 26 towns and cities in Australia, with nine more cities to be rolled out before May – including all major regional centres.
Optus has also begun the process of rolling out 5G in major centres while a partnership between Vodafone and Nokia will see that network join the 5G market during 2020 as well.
